This Helen is the sister of my ancestor, she died unmarried in 1854.

David Falconer's brother Alexander and his wife Agnes Redpath had a daughter Helen/Ellen, born March 14 1826. The family were non-conformists and marriages and baptisms don't often crop up in the Berwick Church of England registers - several of them were married in irregular cross-border marriages such as those at Lamberton Toll .

I realise this post is sometime ago but Elizabeth Hiscock who married Philip Brewer was my ancestor, would be interested to hear from you if you are still researching this family
