Here attached are, as far as I can ascertain, the children of Thomas Mortons first and second marriages. I cannot find (on the irishgenealogy.ie site) a suitable birth record for William from the first marriage, but I added him as on the 1911 census for 25 Newington Avenue, Duncairn ED are
Morton   May Elizabeth   30   Female   Boarder   Church of Ireland   Co Limerick   National School Teacher   Read and write   -   Single   -   -   -   -
Morton   William   25   Female   Boarder   Church of Ireland   Co Louth   Typist G. P. O   Read and write   -   Single
so very likely to be a brother and Co Louth birth would tally with Drogheda and Townley Hall.

Hi
I have no connection to the Morton family, but attach something which I hope is of use/interest. I was working on a poetry book about forgotten Irish women poets and came across a May Morton with only an approximate date of birth. This piqued my curiosity.  She, too, was a daughter of Thomas Morton the Land Steward of Townley Hall and Millicent Guy. Mary Elizabeth (May) was born on 18 February 1879 in Garryspillane (Hospital (place!) Registration District, Co Limerick).
