US Lookup Requests / Fosbender/Fassbinder and Tabling/Tabeling families from Indianna
« on: Sunday 28 September 25 06:12 BST (UK)  »
Hi I am looking for information the following families.  They lived in Butler and maybe Oldenburg, Franklin Indianna.

William and Elizabeth Fasbinder -  immigrated from Germany in 1848 (i have passenger list) would really like census info and any newspaper, obituary type info in the years following their arrival.

Elizabeth Tabling or Tabeling, may have been married to a Joseph Tabling/Tabeling, had a daughter called Elizabeth who married Joseph Fasbinder at age 17 in 1861.  I have no information on the Joseph Tabling at all, they were apparently married in Germany and daughter born there, so must be on a passenger list somewhere and maybe on census lists also.

any help is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for all the information.  I have new details now, the parents of William Clements were John Clements and Isabella - this is from Find A Grave.   John clements may have been a jeweller in Liverpool. It would be very useful if anyone could help with finding other children (williams siblings) or
any information about John and Isabella.

Hi, I am also researching an ARMOUR family which may have had connections to Robbie Burns wife.    Have found the family in the 1841 and 1851 census, living in Greenock, Renfrewshire.
Names are:  John Galbreath born 1809-1811 married Margaret ARMOUR b 1816-1817 in Paisley.  John was a joiner/journeyman.  In the 1841 census there is an Agnes ARMOUR b about 1791 mentioned, I wondered if she might be margarets mother or aunt?? I cannot find anything else about this family in scotland.  Margaret appears to have emigrated to New Zealand in 1874 to live with her son John and his family in Dunedin. Family legend says that there is a connection to Robbie burns..... research found that Jean Armour (Robbies wife) had an uncle she stayed with in Paisley.
John and Margaret Galbreath (nee Armour) had children with names Agnes, Janet, Lachlan, Margaret and John.  Margarets death cert says she was born in Paisley. she married John Galbreath in Greenock.
Any info much appreciated.
