Easier if you post links to records etc
.
.

will do - wasn't sure if could copy images

Annie thornbury listed as sister in law is a Brady too I've just found and shes Annie "Montford" Brady when she marries so I'm hoping that's janes surname so i'll have a look to see
father is dead 1899 so just need to have a look at deaths to see if I can find a name similar to Hardman because that's definitely his name because it's on the second marriage cert

??

yeah I've got that one but nothing on it to get me back a generation
I think his father was an engineer from what I can read on the marriage in 1907 so tried finding other children whos father had the same occupation but nothing

The only Joseph that even comes close is one born to a Joseph and Mary Murphy in 1876 but trying to find out for sure who she is isn't proving easy

thanks for that I had seen that but didn't really think it could be right because they're all CoI but Joseph and the Mary Ann at the bottom seem to be RC.

I found the Roberts marriage but oddly it looks like her father is called Hardman? and he's a solicitor not a name i'm familiar with so not sure if that brings my search to an end  ::)

Dublin / Rathmines church records 1907
« on: Thursday 04 January 18 11:55 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any info on why the Rathmines church records for marriages only go up to 1901 on the NLI?

I am looking to see the parish register of a marriage of Joseph Brady & Catherine/Kathleen Byrne which I know takes place 05/06/1907

I know his father is Joseph and that Joseph (Jnr) is a harness maker but I am looking to find the name of his mother

Based on when he dies and also a census entry he should be born between 1878 - 1883

Hope someone can help :)
Thanks

Dublin / James Mahon M Mary Fitzwilliam

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can help, I've been able to follow the family of James Mahon and Mary Fitzwilliam through the births and marriages of several children and then even onto their grandchildren however I am unable to find a marriage for them - I have a possibility but unable to see any info on it so just wondering if anyone can help.

We first see them having children around 1868 (Mary is Williams at this point) in Oldcourt, Bohernabreena - they then go to Kimmage/Kimmage road by the 1880's.

I have a possible marriage for them in 1868 and she may go by the name of Mary Fitzsimons?

Hoping that anyone can help, what I'm most interested in finding in is the name of James' parents??

Thanks :)

Ah brilliant thanks so much, I was hoping this was were it was going to be. We had baptisms in High Park and at Goose Green which were all around this area.
Thanks again :)
