Hi Rosie and Sandra

Many thanks for all the research done by you both on Eileen and Robert Morrison. I knew they must both be dead or going on for 100 but nevertheless it's sad to find out that Robert only had 14 years to enjoy Canada before he died in 1977 and that Eileen lived on another 14 years on her own.

She was my godmother and my mother's best friend.

I hope someone can help me in my search for Violet and Robert Morrison who were living in Vancouver in 1964. Before that they lived in Winnipeg. Robert was an accountant and they had no children as this was their second marriage.

Japeflakes and Rudolf thanks for the photo and link to Carmen the actress. I don't know whether she's the one but it seems likely. The photo doesn't look very much like mine Japeflakes , I think mine was perhaps taken when she was younger.

Good to know that restoring can also be fun Carolyn!
