Elaine, as previously said the school is now schools.. Reason being there was only about 3 service children left in the school, the rest were private girls. so it was decided to close the school and rent it to another governing body... The money generated for that and the lease of the lands where the old school was is used to help current service children in need of help in there education.
The book is not available in any book shop as it was not  intended for the public. It was only available at the school and at Hampstead museum.There are still some available from the trustees £10-12 plus p&p . There web sit is online.
A few of my friends have organised a reunion  in a few weeks time 25th April in London. 11-3pm (£15 per head) where the book will be on sale.. If you are interested in attending I can send you details. But I will need to know ASAP as we have organised a lunch buffet and the caterers need to have the correct numbers before hand.

School records.. Since the school is closed now,   Your be please to know the trustee's  have all the records of every girl that attended the school, including a lot of the photos. They are currently compiling the photo to display in London, when it is done they will put it on there web site.
Records over 100yrs old are available I believe ( something to do with the law) I believe if you attended the school you can view your record if you apply. The records are kept in Andover.

The school has now closed and all the records are kept in Andover by the trustees they are compiling photos ect at the moment to be shown in London, when they are sorted they will post it on the web site to enable people to view. There is also a book about the history of the school with lots of photos old and new which you can buy reasonably.

I was at the school 60-68 .  A group of my friends are currently trying to set up reunions again.
