yes, thankyou, I have lists of a few slaves that he purchased. He met his second wife in Jamaica and had two children there (this was before he married Eliza). He had shares in a ship in Annan the "lydia", which was also one of his daughters name who was born in Annan. i have found it difficult to find information of his movements in Jamaica, ship records, trading etc.

Iam seeking assistance on George Peter Hammond, bapisted in Folke Dorset 9 January 1781. His first marriage to Elizabeth Barlett led him to go to Jamaica around 1802 and he lived there until 1820-26, he lived in Annan Scotland returned to Sherbourne, migrated to Australia and returned to the UK London where he died in 1858. His second marriage to Eliza Thomas (mullato) from whom I am a decendant. I would appreciate any help on his movements whilst in Jamaica, I do know that he was a trader(of some human slaves) as well as shipping sugar, coffee etc along the trading routes of that time.
