Thanks for the help everybody. The funeral notice says mass in Cloughduv Church and burial to Desert afterwards.

No it's for the republic. I have been to the office before and found the cancelled land books extremely useful when tracing family. It is a shame they are not online.

Is there anybody out there visiting the Land Records office in Dublin in the near future? I am in need of 1 page for a townland to verify a family connection that we are working on but a trip to Dublin is not on the cards until 2016. Many thanks.

Hi Miggs - Thanks for posting your knowledge on the Bohanes, very interesting to read. I have never been down there but it is on my list of things to do sometime! 
I suppose with there being so many branching Bohanes living there, makes it all a little more difficult to track. Good to hear you have found the right path!

That was an error on my part Sonas, I had Patrick in my head after reading Spalpeens comment. I am of course referring to the original Jeremiah and Johanna Driscoll that I posted a few days ago. Unfortunately, i am still actively searching for a baptism record in the different parishes. Was your great great grandmother Hanna Hegarty from Lahardane or elsewhere?

I'm also looking into jeremiah and Johannah driscoll in Kilderry as a possible link. I looked into their children and I found jeremiah, patrick, ellen, mary, bridget, cath, johanna and michael. do ye know if they lived locally or emigrated? Any information is welcome!
