Dunbartonshire / Re: 1851 Cenus Lookup for McGhie / Sample

Thanks Joe
Yes found the 1861 awhile ago. Isn't it funny how people & families appear & disappear at will from life as we know it  or dont appear at all but we know they existed. Next will try the varied spellings of Semple / Sample etc and see what turns up.
All the best

Dublin / Re: Baptisim lookup Please in Dublin

Hi Kate
Its most likely Protestant as the granchildren were baptised & married in the C of E in Cheshire. But that probably dosen't mean a thing, as I have heard of a catholics changing religion for one reason or another. Which makes things much more difficult.
Other than that I can't give you anymore to go on at this time.
Thankyou for answering my post
Cheers Karen

Hi Jacqui
At this stage I dont think I have a Caleb Hames in my tree. Do you know when he was born? I looked for a marriage for him and Mary Glasco also a birth for William Anthony, with no luck. Just thought they may be later family to mine.
