Had a look at Thomas, Edward's father; from the births and checking GRO, MMN Joyner, have found

Thomas Moore married Elizabeth Joyner 20 Jul 1835 St. Martin, Birmingham
mar wits. Robert Powell, Elizabeth Joyner

1841 in Rowington

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01trj/

and a couple of doors above is a Sarah Moore, age 60 wid. crossed out in occupation col., with another Edward Moore; might be worth looking at this Moore family too.

Durham Lookup Requests / Elizabeth Brogg c 1784
« on: Friday 25 April 25 13:22 BST (UK)  »
Stephens is my families main line and although there are trees online, this is the information I have found-

1817 13 Aug
Elizabeth Brogg married David Stevens, Sunderland
Marriage witnesses are William Langton and James Brogg

William Langton always puzzled me as he was with Elizabeth 1861

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01trf/

but I think I may now know why...

I looked at the surname Brogg and found

Parents William and Ann (non-conformist - Sunderland and Tynemouth  records) poss marriage...William Brogg to Ann Cummins 1775 Bishopwearmouth.

Baptisms
James Brogg bap 1776 bur as Broge 1776
William 1777 died
Mary Brogg 1779 died 1854
James Brogg 1781 died 1829
Benjamin Broge 1788

I have these siblings but nothing for Elizabeth who died 1866 aged 82 so c1784 but what I did find are these marriages-

Mary Brogg mar. David Fulwood 24 Aug1801 Bishopwearmouth
mar. wit. William Brogg & James Brogg
David Fulwood died 1807
Mary Fulwood mar. William Langton 9 Dec 1810 Bishopwearmouth mar. wit. James Brogg Benjamin Brogg

James Brogg mar. Sarah McDougal 23 Nov 1818 Bishopwearmouth
mar wit. Mary Langton William Murray

William marries twice but Benjamin I can find no further trace of.

Can anyone help with a baptism for Elizabeth c 1784 as I think I have exhausted all the spelling of her surname ???

(spelling of the surname has been as Brog/Brogg/Broge/Brogue)

Much appreciated as always

I did wonder about this article when I was looking last night, no mention of a daughter

Nottingham Journal 1 March 1938

In short Charles Fielding 31 farm labourer pleads guilty to bigamy at Notts. Assizes, sentenced to 2 days and had served them whilst waiting for trial.

He married his legal wife at Worksop, in September 1930 and they lived together in lodgings for 3 months and 5 weeks with 'the wife's parents'

He went through a form of marriage with Miriam Gertrude Brittain at Southwell...
Supt. Wilson said Fielding's legal wife was living with another man.

There are some non-conformist baptisms online for Barnwell, Jane's parents are listed as George and Mary Cooper.

There's also some baptisms on IGI as well, if you have an account , searching for a Baker birth with father as John Baker and mother as Jane Susanna Cooper, you should find some of the children born in Bythorn; again, her parents are listed as George and Mary Cooper.
