Jacob married elizabeth evans and they had Lorraine - who my mum remembers visiting. Lived at the triangle.

Who are John, Jacob and Elizabeth Evans?

john and Jacob are sons, Elizabeth is a daughter-in-law

For info.

If looking for Jacob Thomas (Jnr.) with his wife and daughter in 1939 Mountain Ash their surname has been transcribed as HOMAS on Anc*y (a correction submitted)

Lorraine Thomas married 1947 and this is her death entry

Lorraine James Death Age:   56
Birth  20 Sep 1919
Dec 1975 Pontypridd Volume:   27 Page:   1148
She died 30 November 1975 Probate gives her address 3 The Triangle Mountain Ash Mid Glamorgan

lady Hawk - Yes this is Lorraine. not sure where she is buried though. Nor her parents.

Hi

Your post is confusing as you don't give surnames so we don't know whether you are talking about children of Jacob & Elizabeth

You don't give any birthyears

Is this Jacob's death reg so we know his age?  What date in March did he die?

Deaths March qtr  1921
THOMAS    Jacob    79    Pontypridd    11a    660

Did he have a son Arthur born around 1875?  If so - Jacob was a widower in 1911.  If that is the right 1911 entry - Jacob was born Walwyns Castle Pembrokeshire

We are unable to find Hannah/Anna Maria who we think died Apr-June 1921. Unable to find more Info.

Hannah/Anna Maria who?  No surname or age given?  What is her connection to Jacob?

Sorry Carole,
thought the post title was obvious.
the surname was Thomas. Jacob the father (born 1841, cornwall) died april 1921, buried in abwefford cemetry, mountain ash. I think his wife hannah/ann maria nee Mannell (born 1847, cornwall) died april 1921.
Jacob and Hannah/Anna Maria has 2 daughters (Laura & Eliza), 3 sons (William, John & Jacob) and 3 other children who born and died between censuses.
Laura Jane (1870 -1915) married Alfred Sales, had 8 children.
William Henry (1871-1948) my great great grandfather.
Eliza Annie (born 1882, died 1894)
John (born Oct-dec 1879, Ebbw Vale) married between 1901-1911 not sure who. Think his grandson was called Raymond.
Jacob the son (born 2 Oct 1887, Monmouthshire) married Elizabeth Evans (1893-1970). Had one daughter Lorraine (1919-1975).

Jacob the father buried with daughter and grandson plus a Mary Ann Thomas buried 20-4-1912 (maybe a daughter)
Unsure where Jacob's wife is buried.
Unsure who John married or when died/buried.
Unsure where Jacob the son or his wife is buried or their daughter.
Unsure where daughter Eliza Annie is buried.

Do you have Jacob’s death certificate which might say if he was a widower. Wouldn’t they be buried together? Whoever registered the death might help too, to give a timeframe. Have you looked on the 1921 census?

My mother and i are coming to Mountain Ash in June.
We are visiting Aberffrwd cemetery to see Jacob's grave, we have found the receipt for the grave, died March 1921.
We are unable to find Hannah/Anna Maria who we think died Apr-June 1921. Unable to find more Info.
We know their eldest daughter Laura married Alfred Sale.
their eldest son was my great grandfather, william Henry.
John, in 1911 census was with the family and down as married. We think his grandson was called Raymond as mum remember her dad saying his cousin named the son after him.
Jacob married elizabeth evans and they had Lorraine - who my mum remembers visiting. Lived at the triangle.
Any ideas where to look for more information or anyone who knows anything greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I am looking for any information about Joshua Turner.
The only records i can find is his marriage to Charity Davie in 1796 in Falmouth. Pallot's marriage index show he was mariner. Charity was a minor (she was 20).
the other records are the baptism of their children.

I do not know when or where he was born or when he died, I assume he died in falmouth, as that was where they lived.

Thanks
Rachel
