About 25 years ago there were old photos of the Fenwick family in the personnel corridor in the Northumberland St tore. I think the apprentices learned about the family as part of their training.

Northumberland / Re: ROWELL family from ALLENDALE

There are several Rowells in Allendale. I'm descended from William Rowell who married Isabella Walton in 1755. He lived in Catton.

Have you tried the Northumberland communities website http://communities.northumberland.gov.uk/communities.htm to see if he crops up on any documents there.

From memory most of the Arab community in South Shields was from the Yemen and had been sailors.  Mohammed Ali had his second marriage blessed at the mosque in South Shields.  South shields library would be able to advise you.

Whitley Chapel is the nearest church to the Hexhamshire Bush.  I think there are other farms called that nearer Haltwhistle

My ancestors were at Bush  Hexhamshire in the 1700s
