Hi Paul. No haven't met anyone direct of Rita, but have spoken to 2 people over the phone, 1 in N.S.W. the other in Tasmania, and am working at getting information to Jill in Tassie, funnily enough, we don't know of each other, but are directly related, (family dispute way back then seemed to have broke us), and am high hoping to meet Pat over Easter holiday in N.S.W. Would there by chance be a possibility of you sending what information you might have, via email, and any scanned copies of photos, i have nothing, and would love to see some of my distant relatives, What little information i have of my tree, i would happily send to you, if you need/want... Sorry for delay,

             I'm looking for John Gamble, 1875-1957. I know for certain that i have in my family, John Stanley Gamble 1875-1957, parent John Nathaniel Gamble and Jane Weston, who married, Ada Beatrice Schell.    I have found a piece of paper i had among'st my years of looking, that says, John Gamble 1875 wed 1897 #4932 to Annie Phillis McPhee (no chain found) Question is, is this the John to John and Jane? John Stanley Gamble, did he marry 2 times?? Please if anyone can find this out for me and if so, are there any children to John and Annie, i would greatly appreciate it.

     Yes sad, apparently died after child birth? I have 2 children. Emily Harriet b.1880 and Leslie Graham b.1882, so if there is another before she died, i don't know... William married again in 1884 to Mary McLean (if this is the same William??)

      I'm totally new to this site, (only today) and like all of you, i'm on a mission    Looking for anything to do with (male) Gamble, marriages to Edith Broadstock, Florence Seward, Alice Nevill, Jane Weston, Mary McLean, Elizabeth Brown, Alice Hilder, Anne maybe Annie McPhee, that's a start for now. I am a direct line of William b.1904 ( my grandpa) marrying Alice Nevill,  William b.1871 (my gr grandpa) marrying Edith Broadstock, John Nathaniel b.1840 (my gr gr grandpa) marrying Jane Weston. My gr gr gr grandpa, John b.1812 Tyrone, Ireland, (parents James, mother Lucia Annie Michie) married Catherine Jane Graham, Had 3 children ( that i know of?)  Mary b.1832, John b.1840(my gr gr), William b.1845. John apparently came on ship, 1852,Kent with John and William, Catherine had apparently died before they left, but i have story of Mary coming 1st 1851, marrying James Curry/Currie, Catherine came with John and William (John b.1812 had apparently died) and married Andrew Curry/Currie, in 1852, (James Dad, daughters Father in-law) Catherine was Andrews 2nd marriage.. Anyway, i'll leave it at that for now, and hope it connects with someone, Please if anybody can shed some light, i greatly appreciate it, and hope i can help anybody at all with what information i do have on top of this...
