I first saw your post about this midway through last year and something made me revisit it today.
Congratulations to your nephew on finding the marriage contract.
I was wondering if if would be possible to either to obtain a copy of the marriage contract from you or details of the reference in order to get my own copy from the National Archives of Scotland? There would be quite a few Horsburgh descendants, myself included, with an interest in this, and I would be willing to make a contribution, both towards getting a copy and towards the translation. Although I'm not sure how that would be achieved when we're not supposed to exchange email addresses? However, I imagine with a reference it would probably save the archives staff time/make it much easier to retrieve the same information.
