Sarah Elizabeth Plumley gg/grandmother, her daughter Ella Georgiana Plumley Peat was my g/grandmother.  Sarah's :) :) son William was born before her marriage to Charles Seymour and was shown on the parish records as illegimate as was Ella.  I have been unable to find anything about William Plumley/Seymour after the 1841 census.  Ella married Benjamin Peat in 1852 and one of their daughters, Elizabeth married John Odell Winch in 1886, they were my grandparents.  Hope this fills in some gaps for you.  Wynne Maguire, Western Australia.

On a web site I found reference to a gravestone to Peter Isnell, clerk of the parish, who died in 1811. The gravestone records an amusing epitaph concerning his 3 wives.
Can anyone confirm if the epitaph really exists please.
Thanks, TOG

Hi George, I have just found that I have a Peter Isnell in my family tree, could you tell me if one of his 3 wives was Elizabeth Winch, they married in 1762.  Thanks Wynne

Do any of your Plumleys come from Pervensey in Sussex?  My gg/grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth Plumley b.1814 Poplar, daughter of John Plumley & Mary Ann Rogers.  John Plumley was born in Pevensey, along with all his family.  Cheers Wynne Maguire.
