Hello Sue,
I had no idea there had been a response to this post, so sorry.
Henry was the brother who came to Australia in 1855 aboard the "Boomerang".
Their parents were George Vallence (Vallens) and Honora Moloney of Galbally, Limerick.
I am wondering if Patrick and James came out together sometime between 1858 and 1862.
Patricks death certificate of 1874, states he was born in Limerick and spent 12 years Queensland and Victoria.
He was married in 1863.
I am ultimately trying to find out the parents of George Vallence - their father, who was born c.1800

Kind regards
Lily (Australia)

Hi John,
I am trying to track down Moloneys or McGraths related to the Vallences from this area.  Do you have any information regarding the Vallences. I have some going back to George Vallence married to Hanora Maloney b c 1800 but unable to find any of his siblings.
Any info would be greatly appreciated,

Lil

Hi,

Can anyone please assist me in finding two brothers Patrick and James Vallence (Vallens) coming from Ireland to Australia between 1858 and 1860.  Their brother had emigrated earlier to Victoria, but on Patricks death certificate it states he had been in Queensland and Victoria. James' states only being in Victoria.  Think they may have come out together but not sure.

Regards
Lil

Thanks for that information Christoper. No, didn't receive an email, but in the meantime I found out that Her father was Denis and mother Kate  and that Denis worked for Nolan Bros butchers in Main St, Kilcullen.      Will try and contact them I think and see if anyone may remember them.

Can anyone please help me find information on Marie Fenelon from Hillside, Kilcullen.  I think she had a brother Paddy married to Sue and they had three or four children.
Marie was born 3rd June, 1896.

I think she emigrated to Australia in the 20's or 30's.

I know this is sketchy but it is all I have at present.

Thank you
