Cork / Forrest family history

I am just starting research on Forrest family. Per family stories, my ancestor came from County Cork Ireland in the late 1700's with a brother. James David Forrest and Shadrac Forrest. Anyone with info would be great! Or any ideas on how to proceed would also be welcomed!! Thanks!!!

Looking for info on James David Forrest or any Forrest from County Cork Ireland. Came to the USA in the late 1700's.
