Thank you for taking the time to reply to my message. It seems we are not connected except through our mutual passion for our past. Good luck with your research.

Can anyone on this thread help please? I am researching my Wife's (Dawn Wood) family and she is a direct ancestor of James Glen through his Daughter Mary, b. 1825 and Husband John Wood, b.abt 1826. If anyone has any additional information about this family, I would really appreciate it. I am working from the UK and do not have direct access to SA records. There is some information on the Wood side which is descended from the Wood-Penny 1820 Settler family but I have some frustrating gaps.

Thanks

p.s. please ignore the scary picture, I'm OK once the full Moon has ended
