Thanks for that. Great to know there is a link there. Unfortunately don't have a Ancestry subscription, so can't access your tree :( Might have to find some timeto head to oour local library which has access to Ancestry.

I have just joined Rootschat so can't private message at the moment. I live in Motueka, NZ, and have a copy of the book 'History of the Drummond Family of Dehra Doon, Riwaka' featuring your family. I am not related to the Drummonds, but have a few distant rellies who married Drummonds. Can check if book still in print if you like.

Researching Staffords In Cavan. My 3 x great grandfather was Alexander Stafford who married Lydia Byers. I am a descendant of their son Alexander. They also had a son Thomas b1858 who married Eliza Jane O'Reillyon 1878. Any connection - would love to hear from you.
