My nephew researched our family tree, I checked with him and you are correct Johninsussex, that was his source of info. My gt gt Grandfather was  John Dobbins who called himself Fred, he married Ann Bennett, which coincidentally was my maiden name. His son Frederick moved to Birmingham and was a steeplejack, he fell off Saltley gas works in 1907 and died. My Grandad John Dobbins (known as Fred) eventually lived in Birmingham and my Mom and Dad lived with him and his wife Gertrude when I was born. My Mom was one of eleven born to Fred and Gert. A
