Hi Joe, I don't have any information relating to Thomas' war career but I have details of the grave in Utley Cem. where he lies. The grave number is Section G No.85
In the grave are firstly Michael Burns aged 61yrs A labourer of Leeds St. Keighley Buried 27/5/1907.
Ann Burns aged 74yrs A widow of West Lane, Keighley Burial 27/9/1918
Bridget Burns aged 63yrs A spinster Died at The County Hospital, Keighley. Burial 15/10/1932
Thomas Burns aged 60yrs A moulder Died at Victoria Hospital, Keighley. Burial 21/2/1939
And finally Catherine Burns aged 82yrs A widow of The Albert Hotel, Keighley Burial 22/2/1961
Unfortunately it would seem there is no headstone, therefore this is all the information I can offer at the moment.
Kind Regards
Julian
