Back to this again I have tried all routes to finding a marriage for James O'Hanlon and Anne Hanratty, who had 9/10 children all in Dundalk but no marriage even tried other countries but nothing, I m beginning g to think maybe they weren't married but then I can't see the RC Church baptising all these children whom I have  lots of info on any tips we would be appreciated  as these two seem to be elusive

Hi

Yes James born 1863/4 and I know his history, Bridget was my great grandmother and her sister Ann married in the North to a Mc Coy.
I didn't know there was a Catherine I always thought that James was the eldest, the problem is I think that the same names run through all the family I have James born 1863/4 getting married in Glasgow and one of his witnesses is named as Patrick Hanratty, so maybe this is his cousin??

It is hard as O'Hanlon is such a common name but the son James lost 3 children inside a month in 1921 I thought that there miight have something about this in papers at the time, I read an obituary about his son Bernard hence how I know that James and Rose the boys parents were making three burials of their children insdie such a short period of time.

Thank you ever so much for your time I appreciate it.
