Still looking for information.  The confusing part is that on his Marriage Cert in 1889 he was 22 giving that he was born 1867, however his death certificate in 1937 has he was 83 years old being then born 1854 a difference of 13 years.  His wife Sarah Anne Hine was born 23 Dec 1869 in Australia so I am thinking 1867 is probably the year.
I am at least looking for Thomas Reid parents.  They are possibly Thomas and Annie.

Seeking assistance with parents of Sarah Ann BERRYMAN possibly born 03 May 1858 Cornwall and died 12 May 1925, Wellington New Zealand.  Sarah Ann married Richard Thomas Elliott on 9 Apr 1879 in New Zealand - Reg No. 1879/85.

Hoping that someone has further details from looking up a marriage certificate to find out Sarah's parents names as there are many different scenarios on different peoples family trees.
