Hi Nola

Fleaur Huie Ponder/Layzell was my neighbour and I did research on her family some years ago. Sadly Fleur died a few months ago and her husband Gerald died several years ago - lovely people. I still have a copy of the research. Not allowed to put an email on here but it is  alan.j.nicholls  @  btinternet.com   so get in contact and we can exchange research.  Thanks. Alan

Shropshire / Re: Amateur Midwifes Court Case 1913- Alveley - help please
« on: Tuesday 21 February 12 10:11 GMT (UK)  »
Hi.

I will send your request to Alveley Historical Society to discuss at their next meeting. One of the extensive France family is active in the Society so may be able to help. Also Esther Webb maybe was related to the Blacksmith or the Quarry Master.

Regards
Alan Nicholls
See www.alveleyhistoricalsociety.co.uk for interesting articles about the village.

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Re: lookup request for St Martins in the Fields
« on: Friday 23 September 11 09:23 BST (UK)  »
Thanks so much for the time that you have put into this.
When I look on the IGI at the film reference many of the baptisms on the film do not have St Martins in the Fields as the place of baptism but just London. So you may be correct that IGI gives the wrong place. I will try to get in contact with the Family History Centre to try to find more about the film. But usually if IGI give a specific date and place and says it is extracted from the register, they are correct.
Thanks again for looking at this.

Tony

Thanks for having a look .

The surname is Thomas Eldred Lea  not Lee as I gave, sorry

The info I have is from IGI and it is extracted from the birth record not submitted.

Hi. Can anyone lookup the baptism of Thomas Eldred Lee in the St Martin in the Fields Parish Register.
IGI gives him baptised 15th August 1793, son of Thomas Lea and Sarah.
Is there any more information - I am wondering whether the father is Rev. Thomas Lee.

Thanks
