This Archibald Fairbairn is quite a bit older than Norah so perhaps she married a son with the same name. I guess it is also possible that she married the Archibald listed above. An obit for the death above would help sort it out. You also may want to see if someone can help you  with an marriage announcement for the marriage of Norah and Archibald.

Hello, just happen to be looking for info about my great-grandfather, Archibald MacDonald Duff (AMD) Fairbairn, and came across your posts. My name is Sandi and I'm in Victoria, BC Canada.

AMD was the father of my grandfather, Kenneth Fairbairn. I did not ever get to meet AMD.
