Oooh!,, my daughter and her husband are due home from Turkey midnight  tonight, in between we have  to feed the cat and try to keep her in, I took in a parcel for my son in law this week,  he asked if I like Turkish delight, so I am assuming  I might get some, last delight I had was from Cyprus which I called Cyprus delight having seen it made.

Today has been a beautiful day after a not so very good week,  I am in Lewes tomorrow,  weather at the moment predicted rain till about midday,  probably arrive about that time, then sun till about 5 when I expect we will be back at the pavilion, I am just a seat  person, don't bowl but pay for a seat which helps to the cost.
Enjoy your weekend  folks  and hope the weather is kind.

Good morning everyone
A  very  chilly morning, I have been up since 5am and the lounge is very cold, I feel the heating will be on soon and it is still on September.

Mare, we both have a banana every day, helped with migraine  in the past,  not so much now, think we have grown out of it, thank goodness.

Our grandaughter  is home from a holiday in Turkey, starts the second year of her graduate job, has to do  a   3 hours travel away so she might have to get a B& B for a couple of nights each week then come home, she can't afford to leave home just yet.

I won't make to  much comment but I am beginning  to feel as if the whole world has gone mad,  I have stopped watching  the news, think I am a bit of an ostrich.

Take care

LM

It certainly is a chilly day, had hoped for a few more sunny days but it isn't too late.

The hem of my dress was   lowered after the birth of our daughter,  bending over a pram ,  a proper pram not like the ones today,  I thought I ought to lower the hem, just a tad .

I am going to Lewes  next Saturday, using  the bowls club away day as what I call " bottoms  on seats" helps to pay for the coach, after roaming  around we go back to the club for refreshments.

Bridigmac, hope you sort out your ATM problems.

Methinks the heating and will  be on soon

Take care, keep warm

I had a hip replacement  some 19 years ago,  if you do as you are told regards exercises Jeff you will be fine,  sure you will.

Mare, I might try your breakfast recipe,  sounds something different from my usual.

Nice sunny day but it is breezy and chilly, sort of day I would like to be beside the seaside, you know how the song goes.

Well our new fund raising  committee is now planning  the Christmas bazaar, never ends, this one should be a cracker!!, bazaar followed by lighting the Christmas tree  with carols and mulled wine, our problem is manpower.

Viktoria, you are such a busy woman,

Take care  everyone

Wa hoo!, the skies is the  limit as they say Dillg, well not the sky for you but you know what I mean.

My passport is  now out of date but we aren't going  to flying  anywhere now, my husband couldn't cope with the airport now, don't think I can but one place I would like to go back to is Jersey,  spent our honeymoon there 61 years ago, no doubt it has changed, they did fly out from a local airport but now it is the main airports,  so don't think we will bother now, just relive the memories and look at them photos now and again,  which brings me to another thing, I am sorting g out photos, got so many my daughter wouldn't want them all and so I am going to send them back to the relative family, they can do what they like with them.

Looking  to be another nice day.

0h dear Viktoria,  very expensive granola,  I lost a filling from we
W******x a few years ago, the dentist didn't believe me but I did, I needed more milk with it.

I saw a friend of mine yesterday who had a pacemaker fitted 2 weeks ago, he is 88, he has done well , so please don't worry, or try not to, you will be as fit as a fiddle within a short space of time, yes you will  be restricted but it won't be for long, we will  be thinking of you.

My nerves were shattered yesterday,  I haven't been out with my husband on a long journey  since I had my accident, well I did yesterday,  he drove like Sterling  Moss, think it will be sometime  before I do another long journey with him, no wonder I can't sleep.

I hope today will be as nice a day as yesterday was.

Take care
