If you havea look at the Genuki website, Holyhead and Amlwch -look at the old map you will find Gaerwen near to Amlwch. That was indeed news for me as I thought there was only one Gaerwen - and I only live 20 miles away!

I think the place you are looking for may be Gaerwen, Anglesey. It is not that far onto the island on the Llangefni Road.

My grandfather was Samuel Owen Gee, and his father was Samuel Gee, his mother was Catherine Owens - I managed to suss thatb out for myself as I didn't know her name and my hunch proved right. Always worth  a try! Samuel Owen was born in 1872.

I have a Samuel Gee, but not the same one - seems to have been common in Stockport!
