Rutland Lookup Requests / Re: 1841 Census: DUNMOREs in Riddlington
« on: Friday 09 September 05 03:34 BST (UK)  »
Thanks you so much. this is great. The burial index is certainly an added bonus. John, married to Elizabeth was one of the older siblings and Catherine was the youngest. Looking at the NBI it looks as thought the father, John, died a year before the census. Chaz (Charles) was one on the middle siblings. Great information. Thanks so much Paul. Much appreciated.

Rutland Lookup Requests / 1841 Census: DUNMOREs in Riddlington
« on: Thursday 08 September 05 21:15 BST (UK)  »
I wonder if I could ask for another 1841 lookup. This time I'm looking for my DUNMORE family in Ridlington. Parents are John and Ann Dunmore. They had 12 children between 1806 and 1829, two of whom I know for sure died before 1841, but even so most of them are missing by 1851. I realise several are female and therefore probably married by 1851, but would love to know if any of them are there in 1841.

Thanks in advance

Thanks, Paul for such a prompt response. This is great and confirms my suspicion that John was born outside the county.

Thanks again

Completed Census Requests / 1841 Census - Pickworth, Clipsham: SHEFFIELD
« on: Wednesday 31 August 05 12:43 BST (UK)  »
Could I get a look of the 1841 census for Rutland for my SHEFFIELD family. Specifically, I'm looking for Henry aged either 20 or 25 probably in Pickworth or Clipsham and also John and Ann SHEFFIELD, ages probably rounded to 55 / 60. They should be located in Pickworth. For John and Ann, I'd like to know if they were born in Rutland or not (I think John may have been born in Northamptonshire).

All help greatly appreciated.

Would also love to hear from any other researchers interested in this name.  :)

Lincolnshire / Re: Sentance/Sentence family and related

I have an Elizabeth SENTANCE very loosely connected to my tree. She married William PALMER (my 3xgt. uncle) at Edenham on 26 Aug 1826. I have nothing more on this family. Maybe you can fill in some gaps.  :)
