Hi Pat,
I am researching/piecing together my family tree and am related to Edward Ledger(gg grandfather) older brother of Frederick Ledger b1812(gg uncle),i have Frederick marrying a Ann Johnson in 1846,they had 3 children the oldest being Sarah born 1848,could this be your Sarah who married James Stevens,
any details much appreciated,

Have been searching Henry and Jane,found the following Birth entries on the Church of Later Day Saints web site, a couple of names have shown up that had not previously shown.Listed below are the names i have found,
Henry Thomas    1849
Alice Hannah      1850
George              1852
Frances              1854**
Fanny                1855
Frederick            1857
Agnes                24/3/1859--3/4/1859**
William               1860
Ernest                2/11/1862--13/1/1863
Arthur                1864  possible middle name Richmond
Ernest                1868
Clara                  1870  possible middle name Matilda
Florence              1872  possible middle name Jane

Frances and Agnes two extra,
does any of this tally with your records,

Greetings,
Another kind member has said that Thomas and Ann Ledger had 5 children,Betty,Thomas,William,Edmund and Edward
my question is,does anyone have info on the birth of Edward as i cant find him any ref to his birth,i have looked in FreeReg and FamilySearch.org but nothing comes up,
any suggestions,

Hi Chris,
these Ledger boys liked children,Henry with his 11,older brother Frederic had 9 and oldest brother Edward had 8,
when looking up the family,Henrys dad Thomas had an older sister Betty two younger brothers William and Edmund but the name Edward by another RootsChat member has appeared as a possible brother born about 1787,have you any info on this as i can't find him,

Hi Chris,
My name is Geoff Ledger from New Zealand,i also have been trying to put together our family tree on my dads side,through Rootschat and FreeReg i have found it of great help.i am related through Thomas And Marys son Edward,Louisa was baptised at St Swithins,East Retford,Nottinghamshire.there is a ref on Geni.com concerning Henry Ledger,born 1818,son of Thomas and Mary(nee Mellish),the person putting together the tree is Anne Groom who is the Great Great Granddaughter of Henry.
Hope this is of some help,you may already have this info,as I've just started looking it may be a few years ago you posted,

Thanks for the reply,unfortunately i am not on Amnesty,i let my membership lapse a few years ago,i have used FreeREG as well as a couple of other sites to find my way around,
I have John having 3 children--Francis,Thomas and Gervase,
Thomas is my GGGG grandfather,iv'e only found  4 children---Edmund,Betty,Thomas and William,do you know what year Edward was born,i have a possible ref of birth 1785,died 1805,any further help on this would be most helpful,
Thomas is my GGG grandfather,he had 4 children---Ann,Edward,Frederic and Louisa
Edward is my GG grandfather,he had 8 children,Emma,Walter,Edward,Frederick,Alfred,William and Walter,one Walter and one William both died in infancy,
Alfred is my G grandfather he had 1 child,Sydney
Sydney is my grandfather and he had 5 children,Emily,Suzy,Noel,Maxwell and Graham
Noel is my farther,

I did find a christening for a John Ledger but the date was 1688,a little early for our John i think,
I will have to look at renewing my membership with Amnesty so i can check out your tree.
