Staffordshire / Hoping to find the Mysterious Woman
« on: Monday 23 December 13 02:51 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking please for a lady who was a dancer in  England around 1916,this lady married a soldier in Staffordshire, and returned to New Zealand with her husband Harries Wade Brown, she was in New Zealand for 5 months with her husband ,far from home with no other family to speak of.
It seems that Harries was a bit of a scoundrel and always getting into trouble on the base and was in the caboose alot,so was forbidden to leave, this may have been grounds for her to return to England.
She may have returned and gone back to her profession of dancing, this isnt known to be confirmed.
In 1921 ,she would have become a widow because Harries[known as Harry] died.
It isnt known if she remarried,or when she returned to England she may have been expecting a child this is just a theory as nothing has been confirmed ,at this point its just heresay.
The lady that i am looking for please is  JESSIE ELSIE SHARPLES OF STAFFORD,STAFFORDSHIRE.
Please if anyone can solve this puzzle of this mysterious woman ,as every turn there is nothing to find.
I would so dearly like to know about this lady.
I would like to know did she dance in the theatre/with a group/or alone [say in a nightclub or something] did she entertain the soldiers etc
Thank you earnestly so much [ and have a terrific holiday and a nice and safe one into next year]

Were her and Sarah sisters?
Rachel Brown was born in 1879-1952.
The Brown family was from Pott Shrigley,Cheshire.
JohnClaytons parents were John and Edna Clayton from Poynton,Cheshire i am lead to believe.
