Thanks. I also see information about Henrietta, betrothed to John Lloyd Thomas. She died in 1851 also in her twenties. I wonder what the cause was?

Thank you for those Oreo and Shaun. Some of this is new information for me, so I will be adding it to my tree.

Thank you for that, Oreo.
Here are the 24 children of the Rev. Llewelyn Lloyd Thomas (pdf attached). I compiled this from an older family tree we had and updated where necessary.
I now have the info for Elizabeth Lloyd Thomas on my Ancestry tree.

Those are great maps. Thank you Osprey.
Are they in the public domain and OK to copy?

I see some of the older (c1700) records have some words in Latin. Was that the case for most Church records about that time?
For example, I see a name Guilemi (or similar) which I am guessing would be William in modern day English.

I want to revisit this topic, focusing on the two wives of Rev Timothy Thomas 1720-1768.
Timothy's second marriage was to the "daughter of Williams of Trebwl." We think this is Elinor but where can the official record be found? Was Trebwl a property in Carmarthenshire? Is it near or a part of Llanpumpsaint?
Timothy died in 1768 and we have 20th April 1822 as the date of Elinor's death. Why can't we find a death record? Did Eleanor remarry? Was she born in Llanlleoni (or similar name)? Where is that?
****
Timothy's first marriage was to "daughter of Llanllwnni" 1723-c1750. Who might that be if they married about 1743? We think a daughter, Hannah from this marriage married Rees Sanders. What happened to Hannah?

I have attached my family chart and hope I can update it with more info about Timothy's wives.

Using my very limited knowledge of Norwegian, it appears that Paul (Paul) Larsen and Henricha had two children together out of wedlock. Maren born 1818 and then Jacob Paulsen baptised 22nd March 1820 in Vefsn. I see no other trace of this Jacob. Did he die young?
Then Paul (of Tuvnes) appears to marry Berit Nilsdatter on 22nd June 1823. They had a child, Jacob Mathias Paulsen born 26th May 1824 in Vefsn, who can be followed to his death in 1891.
****
Henricha had another child Jacob Christian Jacobsen born 21st July 1826. What happened to him?

I haven't found Paul in the 1865 or 1875 Census. Other trees have him as the Paul who died in 1869 at Hatten. I am not convinced yet.

Europe / Paul Larsen, father of Maren Nikolina Paulsdatter b 1818 Vefsn, Nordland
« on: Tuesday 25 June 24 23:32 BST (UK)  »
Here is another mystery.
Maren Nikolina Paulsdatter was baptised in Blaaefjelddal on or about 19th April 1818, the 4th Sunday after Easter Day (apparently). Her parents were Poul (Paul) Larsen and Henricha Elisabeth Ingebrigtsdatter.
Paul was (supposedly) the son of Lars Pedersen, Tiphaug and Milla Andersdatter, Tiphaug.
I have yet to find a marriage record for Paul and Henricha, but it appears that they had other children together. Henricha died in 1843.
There is a marriage record for a Paul Larsen to Berit Nilsdatter on 22nd June 1823 at Dolstad Kirke and they had a child together, Jacob Mathias Paulsen born 26th May 1824 in Tuvnes. Berit died in 1869.
Another tree has Paul Larsen dying in 1869 in Tuvnes, but that may not be correct.

Splendid! Sigurd Lund Lindseth Jenssen born 19th September 1999 was the son of Lauritz Andreas Jenssen and Karoline Amalie Olsdatter Nyland.
Thank you Zefiro  ;)

Great. Thank you.
I am calling him Olaf Mork Olsen Nyland (born 19th October 1999 and baptised 27th December 1899) as all the children took the last name Nyland.
