The Common Room / Re: Pub/Hotel owners in Liverpool circa 1910

To Hanes teulu,

Thank you for that information. I will follow that up on the 1911 Census.
That certainly is the family.

And no, I don't have the respective birth certificates.

To Shaun J,

First, I thought I had an i.d. but had a major disk failure some time ago and lost all my details, so joined up again. Should I cancel "Sidney J Dean"?

I'll follow up on the 1911 Census.

Any ideas as to how to find if he was either the licencee or owner of a Pub/Hotel in Liverpool in the 1910's.

Your replies are appreciated.

Sid

The Common Room / Pub/Hotel owners in Liverpool circa 1910

Hi everyone,

I am led to believe that my Grandfather, John Dean (1872 - unknown) was either the licencee or owner of a Pub/Hotel in Liverpool in the 1910's.

His middle name may have been Ewart, but not verified.

I have correspondence that indicates my uncles and aunts, Mary Dorothy Dean, Jack E Dean and possibly Charles A Dean were born on the premises.

His wife's name (my Grandmother)  was Sarah Jane Dean (1875 - 1961)

Any information or suggested links would be most appreciated.

Hi Davecigar,

I'm trying to find information about an uncle of mine who was a pilot on the Mersey River.

His name was Charles A Dean. DOB 13 May 1906 and he died on 14 November 1960

His wife's name was Florence and he had a daughter. She is still alive.

Any information that anyone can supply would be most welcome.

Sid
