Well, well.  I didn't know about Fred Camp age 7 weeks.  My gr grandfather Joseph Camp left behind Mary Ann (who later married James Morris), with two young daughters and another on the way.
Thank you for your info!! ... and could you check for Mary Ann Morris and possible other family nearby?  This is terrific!

I am especially interested because my Hawksworth family owned the White Swan until the 1860's when my gr gr grandfather George (born in the Inn "yard" ) decided to farm instead.  My gr grandfather Thomas Robert Hawksworth was more an enjoyer of pubs than inkeeper...
It was called just the Swan Inn by the 1890s.  I believe the Barnsley Chronicle did some articles on this including the photo.  Does anyone remember a date for it?  Would love to hear more...  !!!

Caithness / Re: Links: Caithness Burials
« on: Wednesday 24 August 05 05:53 BST (UK)  »
I wonder if anyone could check the Watten, DUNNET, or CANISBAY Cemetery details and tell me if there is a record for
James Manson born  1756 or Christan GEORGESON Manson born about 1756 who died after 1851
... or any Mansons or Henderson who died around 1851 probably at Gersay, Watten, Caithness
I know their daughter Bel (born 1803 died about 1851) who married David Henderson, was buried in CANISBAY Cemetery, but wish I had the details for  the reference I  found in the index as HENDERSON I  CB8  339
I am also curious about the other family nearby, esp:
MANSON C            CB8     339
MANSON J             CB8     339
MANSON M            CB8     339
MANSON S             CB8     339
Could anyone help me out with details, or in the Watten Cemetery show me the details for:
MANSON A             WA4     65,114
MANSON B             WA4     132
MANSON H             WA4     114
MANSON I              WA4     4
MANSON J              WA4     93,114
MANSON M             WA4     114
I hope to visit there on our trip this fall, so am also interested in the location of these graves as well ...
