Hi Joanna - As per my previous post, Aldolphus Holmes was my Great-Grandad, i only have one picture of him taken with my Dad as a baby. Do you have any pictures of him at all?

Adolphus Holmes was my Great-Grandfather, somewhere I have a picture of him holding my Dad when he was a baby (1929). Apparently he was a master builder and had his own building firm in Southend. My Dad's Mum (my Grandmother) was Myrtle Homes. My Dad, who's still alive, remembers visiting the family home at 96 Park Street when he was young.
