Thank you for your message re O’Connor/Connor.
I haven’t been on Rootschat for a very long time.

James Connor and Ellen McCullough were “Dunturk” family line.

James Connor was born in 1851 son of Patrick Connor and Catherine McMullan.
I am sorry I have no information on Ellen.
James and Ellen McCullough had a son James born 1886 in Drumnaquoile, I am not aware they had more children.

Sorry I cannot help with ‘your Ellen’ appears to have a different surname i.e. Ellen Connor daughter of James Connor and Catherine Johnson.

Hello River Tyne Lass, I know we have spoken previously re: Conroy family.

That’s kind of you to forward Catherine’s grave information. Catherine was my Gr Grandmother on my mums side. It’s sad that Catherine wasn’t buried with her husband Charles. But, I believe he is close by.

The annoying thing is I know for definate her name was Catherine. But her hospital record from Garlands they have her named as Charlotte. Her death record has also been recorded as Charlotte. That is why it Took me a very long time to trace her.

The grave must of been unpurchased so later on Mary McDonald was buried there. (No relation I believe)

Not easy genealogy is it.

Morning Sandra, thank you so much for looking up plot details for gr uncles Charles and John.
That is such a great help to me and very much appreciated.

I am actually back in Wallsend staying with my sister on Saturday for a very quick visit. So I know where we will be going to on Sunday.
Sad to find out John was in Simpsons Hotel. Very sad that  so many of my family have no headstones. Pretty upsetting.

Charles O’Neill died March 1952 aged 68 years
John O’Neill died June 1954 aged 72

Address at time of death 30 Bede Crescent, Wallsend.

Plot no. 2744 RC Section

Hello Sandra, yes I would like to be able to visit their grave location.

I was in Wallsend last week visiting my sister and we walked around the cemetery. Paying our respects to many family relatives. But couldn’t locate my gr uncles grave.

Hi Jen,
I couldn’t connect the no. 2744 which I was given for the plot without the section letter or number. So it was difficult to locate where on earth it was.
Does that make sense.

Hello Jen, thank you so much for your reply. Yes that is the Plan I looked at.
Didn’t really make sense to me the plot number I was given.
But, maybe I shall get in touch with North Tyneside Council to see if they help in locating the grave of my gr uncles.
I know there is no engraved headstone for John and Charles O’Neill.
But, there is a third person buried in the plot with the name of Anthony Gannity buried 1971. So I may be lucky if he does have a Headstone. Fingers crossed.
