I just found one of my 2x Gt Uncles served in WW1 and he served in the Royal Regiment of Artillery (RGA). I was wondering what they did or what their role was during the war? Also did he get medals or honors?

Leonard was one of the lucky ones he died in 1974. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Tyrone  ;D

Hi Tyrone, my grandfather was Leonard J Strangwood from Herefordshire  :) He married Else Kennett who was my mother's mother. My mother was called Joyce Eliza Strangwood. Are we distant cousins? Waiting for your reply ;D
He was in the military also we have photos of him
Regards
Simon
