Well girlies,

Hi, this is Jo in France.  Well what a threesome we make!  All chasing the same family and getting nowhere.  We must keep in touch and see if one of us cannot dislodge a piece of useful info. Happy hunting to us all

Hi,
I was lucky as someone was very kind and looked up my family query.  Hope you are as lucky and someone picks up your request too.

Morning Sam,

Thank you so much for the photograph and the translation. Very kind of you to take the time and trouble to do that and very much appreciated.

Onwards now trying to Evan's wife.
Thanks

Hi,

Yes, Glamfhs was where I got the information from - I was hoping there was a more definite birth date and some information on his wife either on the headstone or in the church records.

I have hit a blank wall with Evan before 1841.  I am unable to find his wife's name, marriage date or his birth date and I was hoping there was something that could be of interest on the headstone.

Thanks for taking the time to look up the Glamfhs files though

Hi All,
Could someone help with looking at a gravestone in Llanwonno St Gwynno churchyard please.
I know my g-g-g-grandfather is buried there with some of his grandchildren and his daughter in law, but I would like to know if his date of birth is on the grave and if his wife is in the same grave and if so what was her name.

His name is Evan Morgan and he died Dec 1841.  Also in the grave is Jane Morgan his daughter in law who died Feb 1862.

Any information from this headstone would be gratefully received
Many thanks

Yorkshire (West Riding) / Patrick Hughes Died May 1930 in South Kirby

Can anyone help with finding the grave of Patrick Hughes who died 2nd May 1930.

He was living at 4 Northfield Avenue, South Kirby at the time of his death, but I do not know where he was buried.  He was Roman Catholic.

I am hoping that the grave will have a birth date on it.  I have not been able to find his birth date and the on census forms there are several different places named as his birth place.  I have bought several birth certificates but none are correct.  So I thought I would try and work back.

Thanks

PS Patzy,

One of the possible maiden names for Ellen is Nolan and I noticed that you have Nolan's in your tree.

Maybe

Hi Patzy,

I had almost given up hope on the subject of Thomas and Ellen!

Your grandfather was my grandmother's brother.  I can find 7 children of Patrick and Catherine with John being the youngest and my grandmother, Ellen being the second eldest.

Thomas and Ellen are something of a mystery with no confirmed births/marriage or deaths.  Although I do have slightly more on Patrick and Catherine, John's parents.  I have their tree on ancestry which you would be more than welcome to look at if you are interested?  I am not sure how to send a private email with details.

Hope to hear from you soon and to swap any information that we may have.

Cheers Jo
Jo
