Sligo / Re: Look up please Hugh Milmoe 1878

I am wondering if this has any connection to my family of Milmoe's(Milmore). My Grandfather was Michael Francis Milmoe son of Hugh Milmoe and Bridget Ellen Milmoe nee House. I know they resided around the Ballymote, & Drumrat areas of County Sligo. Hugh was born around 1876. Their children were: Bernard Joseph, Patrick, Mary Anne, Michael Francis, Elizabeth and Bridget Agnes that I know of. If this is the same family I would be very interested in connecting with others related to them, as I know very little about them or my Grandfather.

Galway / The Coyne family of Cornamona
« on: Sunday 12 October 14 11:53 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to find any information regarding a Farming Family, named Coyne from Crimlin East Cornamona, Co. Galway. They were living in the area in the 1940's. I believe they had 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls.  They were a Roman Catholic family. I don't have a clue where to start, although I know one of the daughters was born in Feb 1947 but I cannot find her birth record. Please can someone with local knowledge point me in the right direction to help me find this family. I would be extremely grateful.

Many thanks, Lorraine

Wiltshire Lookup Requests / Re: Lookup Request for William LANSLEY / LANCELEY
« on: Friday 25 October 13 15:24 BST (UK)  »
Hello Teulu,

I am also researching the Lancley/Lansleys in Hampshire and some in Wiltshire. I checked the Parish records for the baptism of William Lanceley son of Jonas and Susannah and unfortunately the records on the microfiche were illegible. Next time I am in HRO I will see if I am able to view the original registers from the archives and see if they are more legible. I visit once a week so I will get back to you asap.

Regards

Lainey

Wiltshire Lookup Requests / Wiltshire Marriage Look up for Lancly please
« on: Tuesday 22 October 13 11:49 BST (UK)  »
Hello,

I am researching a couple who were living in Abbots Ann in 1742. Their names were Jonathan and Ann/e Lancley?lancly/Lansley. I can find no record of them having married in Hampshire so am now thinking they may have married in Wiltshire. The first record I can find for them is the Baptism of their son George Lancly on 17 September 1742 in Abbots Ann, Hants. They may well have married in Wiltshire and had children in that county before arriving in Hampshire. Would anyone have access to any marriage records for Wiltshire around 1735-1742 please. I would be very grateful.

Many thanks

Lainey

Hi Richard,

I am also researching a family from Abbots Worthy and came across this group online: The Worthy's local History Group who appear to have some records of "Garretts" in the area. I don't know if you have already seen this group but here is the link:

http://www.communigate.co.uk/hants/worthyslocalhistorygroup/page10.phtml

I am going to Hampshire Records Office in the near future so if you need me to look in the Andover records for a marriage please let me know.

Best regards

Lainey
