Dublin / Re: A Directory of Dublin Surnames/Trades 1738

Hi - I am trying to find info on my family O'Loghlen / O'Loughlin - my Gt Gt Grandfather James O'Loghlen / O'Loughlin (1835) was a "Cooper" in Dublin and so was his son Torlough / Terence O'Loghlen /O'Loughlin (1863)  - as "Coopering" was a occupation passed down the family - I was hoping to find a possible link before James's time  - it would be great if you found something.

Dear Kate  -  I wondered if you could help me trace the parish records for the marriage of my Gt Grandfather James O'Loughlin (O'Loghlen) to Mary Ann Johnston  in Dublin between 1860 - 64. - They had children Torlough (1863) and Francis (1865) Margaret (1868) - all baptised at St Mary's. But there is no trace of their marriage at St Mary's - I feel that they may of married at her parish (but she was born in Dublin - as UK 1871 census states) - but I can't trace which one - Unfortunately I live 3.5 hours away in Mayo with wife and 3 children under 6 and find it almost impossible to get to Dublin and look - Can anybody help me - I don't want to give up as I feel that I have gone so far.
