. After many years I’ve finally got a high Dna match to someone from Latvia who has the Krilovs name in their near-ancestry. Unfortunately he doesn’t know much about the family as his grandmother didn’t speak about family, exactly the same as my grandad didn’t. So, we may be 3rd cousins which is the closest I’ve ever got, his great grandfather was Aleksejs Krilovs born 1914, with a brother named Pavels in 1913, if this is all correct. My grandad was born 1926 if he was honest about that. I believe my grandads father (Aleksander Krilovs) may have been Aleksejs brother ? Family search doesn’t throw anything up and I have a subscription to ancestry but not finding anything on there…. Where do I go from here? Thankyou.
