Angus (Forfarshire) / Myrtle V M Gibson nee Wilson death notice lookup
« on: Friday 12 October 18 01:08 BST (UK)  »
Hello All

Am wondering if anyone is able to direct me to where I might find online death notices from 2012 please?

Myrtle was the wife of my 1st cousin 1xremoved. She passed away in Dundee in 2012 (don't know the exact date).

Would appreciate any assistance/advice.

Regards
M

Oh my goodness. Thank you all so very much!

Daisy - I think you have hit the proverbial nail on the head with the link you posted! Even the ladies hairstyles are the same in the family photo.

Once again, thank you so much :-)

Hello all

An approximate date of when this photo was taken would be appreciated. Once again, an old family photo has been found with no writing on the back to identify who is in it, or when the photo was taken. A fantastic photo to have - but the family has no idea who they are.

We can hazard a wild guess as to who the family group might be, but an approximate date of when it was taken might help identify individuals.

Thanks in advance
Meg

Thank you all so much.

That gives me some clues, but now gives me more candidates as to who it might be than originally thought lol.

Hello All

Was wondering if anyone was able to pinpoint when this photo was taken, and the approximate age of the lady in the photo?

Unfortunately, I have no idea where the photo might have been taken, however, as it was found in an old box of photos in Australia, perhaps it may have been taken here.

Regards
Meg

Hello All

Thank you all so very much for your help :-)

I had thought it might have been my great aunt, but your expertise and kind comments have helped my believe it is her with absolute certainty that it is her.

Cheers

Hello

Would love help to date this photo please? All I know is that is was taken in Watford, England. It's either a photo of one of my great aunts (who died in 1963 aged 86), or of my great grandmother (who died in 1935 aged 75). There is nothing written on the back of the photo that might identify who it is or when it was taken.

Would be grateful for any help.

Kind regards
M
