Hi
Tonybane, on the 1901 census is Tawnaghmore, Kilbelfad.  I thought someone might be interested in contacting this lady in Australia, her name is jean and shé decended from the McHales from Tonybane.  Her address is, (*)..I´m sure she´d love to hear from anyone with connections with this family.  I have been helping her for sometime but to actually make contact with family members would be very nice for her.  Thanks

Patrick.

Mayo / Re: Finnertys or Shaws from Ballina, Co. Mayo.

Hi Tracey,
Thanks for your reply.  I've checked my records but unfortuneately there is no Nora or Timothy Fleming in my tree.  My Flemings were from the Ballina, Ardnaree area of Mayo which is in the north of the county.  Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Patrick.

Mayo / Finnertys or Shaws from Ballina, Co. Mayo.
« on: Monday 08 August 05 11:57 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I've been doing research into my family for the past 3 years now and have basically gone back as far as I can.  Now I'm looking to possibly hook up with relatives around the world.  The main names I'm looking for are Finnerty, Shaw, Gallagher, Fleming, Lacken and Robinson.  All these families originate from the parishes of Kilmoremoy or Ballynahaglish, townlands would be Ballina and Rehins (Rahans).  If you think you might have ancestors with these names get in touch I'd be more than willing to share what information I have, thanks.
Paddyjoe

I know that this is a long shot, but I am hoping that there is somebody out there who lives close to ST. CRONAN'S church in balla, who would go to the grave yard, find the connor headstone and send me the information as I am trying to do a family history for my children. There will be a James connor (GRANDFATHER) Margaret  connor (GRANDMOTHER) some of their children, at the bottom of the headstone ther is a James Gerald Niland and a Michael Connor ( which is my twin brother). Like I said this is a long shot, but I am hoping that somebody can help.

Hi Mary I'm off to Mayo on the 17th of this month and I have a sister living i n Balla, I could have a look for you if you like, what do you want the info or the picture of the headstone?
Patrick.
ps mary,
