Your post interested me because I have a Matthew o' Riley who married Ann Riley. They had a son Peter who emigrated to the US around 1850. Is there any possibly that this is the same family?

Does he or anyone have any information on the 1800's. I am trying to find out if James Kearney born about1814 in ireland is connected. He died in1907 in Elroy, Wisconsin, USA. His obit said that he left Roscommon due to mismanagement of the government. James Kearney married in Woonsocket, RI about 1853 and moved to  Chicago, Kenosha, WI before Ning up in the Elroy area.

I have a James Kearney in my line born on 1814 in Baynelstow, co. Carlow. He went to the US sometime before 1853. He married Anna Moore on Jan. 24,1853 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with witnesses Hugo Carmody and Julia Keough. They eventually settled in Elroy WI. Any chance of this being the Kearneys mentioned here?

Note: spelling of places from his obit (1907). Also in obit was "info" that he had been chased from Ireland by mis-government.

Ireland / Pardy

Does anyone have a Piers (Peter) Pardy in their line. My g-g-grandmother was Bridget Pardy, born about 1817 in Ireland. Married in Canada about 1847 to Edward Quinn. Lived in Peel Township, Ontario, Canada. I have heard that Bridget's father was Piers or Peter. Any help?

Ireland / Quinn brothers left Ireland 1846

I am looking for parents of John, James, Michael, Patrick, Edward and Vernon or William Quinn who supposedly left Co. Limerick in 1846. Michael went to New York, Edward to Ontario, Canada, John and James stopped around Tweed, Ontario and the one named William or Vernon went to Montreal. Edward married Bridget Pardy and they settled in the township of Peel, Wellington county. His tombstone said  that Edward was born in 1802 and that he died in1883. However other places list his birth year as 1822. The 1822date makes more sense since I think he married in 1847 .one of his sons (Patrick)was born  in 1856  in Peel Township, Drayton, Wellington, Ontario. Patrick married Anne Jane McManus.
