Perhaps we can talk after you get back. Have a wonderful trip!

Thanks so much for understanding.  Just planning this trip is stressful!  And I'm scared of flying.  Yikes!

I resent the first email. Let me know if you can see the pictures.

I got everything this time.  Thank you so much!  I am sorry to say that I have to go back to trip planning right now!  Please know that I definitely want to get back to this!  Thank you again!

I will try again. I might have to send the pictures separately.

Where are you located? I have a few cousins outside of the Midwest. I am getting together with many of my cousins at the end of the month and the will host them for a cousins' weekend at the end of January. I am into the stories in addition to the family tree. I don 't have a lot of pictures but do have some.

Also, if you ever want to talk, let me know your phone number and I will call.

I'm in San Antonio, Texas.  Originally from Ohio.  My late parents retired here and died here.

The pictures should be included in the attachments to the emails. Let me know if they didn't come through. I am not the most computer savvy.

I got the e-mails with wonderful info, but no pictures.  Thank you for trying! :)

Did you see the picture I was talking about? Edmund Quinn was one of the twins. Oldest children of Edward and Mary. His twin was Edward. My mother, Catherine, was next in line. Also, did you have the picture of the four brothers?

Do you have any other contacts?

Unfortunately, I don't see any pictures. ???  I'm sorry.  I am just now looking into this again so I don't have any other contacts.  I sure do wish I did!  Somewhere in the mess of an office I have, there are pictures, but I'm not sure what I have or where they are.  I got frustrated one day and put everything in a folder.  I will find them.  Our plans to Tipperary are confirmed, by the way.  Scared of flying but will have to get over it.

Also, the brother you listed as James Patrick was James Pardy and he went by Pardy. This was after their grandmother"s maiden name. There is great variation with the spelling. Sometimes I see it as Pardee and other times Pardee. I have a picture of him when he visited my mother's family after Edward William died due to a construction accident in 1936 in La Crosse WI.  Family also visited Canada several times and I have pictures. One picture has Eileen Quinn Bricco and Mae Quinn McDonald with my uncle Edmund taken in 1937.

Eileen and Mae (along with Kay) were my grandmother Helen Teresa Quinn's sisters.   :)

We are definitely related. My grandfather (Edward William Quinn) was also a son of Patrick Quinn and Anne McManus. I tried unsuccessfully to attach some of what I have. Is there a way to email you privately? Do you have the information from James Quinn of Canada?  He did quite a bit of research and he shared materials with me last summer. If you don't have it I am sure he would not mind if I shared it with you. He gave me permission to share it with my cousins. (Edward w. and Mary Riley Quinn had 40 grandchildren.)

I hope I am able to send you a private message.  I was unable to respond to one yesterday.  If that doesn't work, I'll post my "spam" e-mail address, to which you can respond, and I will then give you my "real" e-mail address.  I've met a cousin have I?  How wonderful!!

The Common Room / Re: Visiting Limerick or Tipperary???

Since you say you re interested in castles I d recommend " Cahir castle" and  "Rock of Cashel" both in County Tipperary.  I have not been to visit Cahir castle but it looks very impressive from the outside. Have taken the guided tour of Rock of Cashel twice. Found it v interesting. Composed of several different buildings including a round tower.   Plenty of history associated with it.  Hope you enjoy your visit wherever you decide. :)

Thank you.  I have been viewing images of Tipperary and came across Rock of Cashel, which looks very impressive!  We shall see where we go, if we are able to go.  I truly appreciate your responding to my post!
