Thank you everyone, I am sure Faulkner must have been his name as his wife once told me he was a violinist, they never had any children.

Essex / How do you find who lived at an address between 1960s and 1995

60 years ago when I was around 11 I was in a kite club run by a chap called Richard and his wife Lillian.  Richard was a bit of a mystery man and I would like to do some research on him unfortunately as it was a long time ago I can’t remember his last name,  but I know Richard and Lillian lived at 74 Water Lane Ilford Essex between 1960s and 1995 when he died his wife had died sometime before that. I have tried 192.com which doesn't go back that far and the land register, but they couldn't help. Has anyone have any ideas how to find who lived at an address in that time.  Thanks Sirius

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Help needed with a death at sea please.
« on: Sunday 08 March 15 19:23 GMT (UK)  »
Hi All,

Find my past are doing a free weekend until midday on Monday 9th.

I have found Peter Callison, I have been trying to find out what had happened to him for 10 years.

Find my past shows he died at sea on 13th July 1853, the vessels name was the Harold sailing out of Shields.  Could anyone please try to read the Masters name (it looks like Detchern), also what's written under place and cause of death plus what's written under the fee of 2 shillings and 4d.

His wife Jane Callison nee Townsend remarried in 1857, I have never been able to find a death certificate for Peter is that because this record is a type of death certificate?

Thanks for your help

Hi Flattybasher9 and CroxleyGreen

I had done the first part of deleting in contacts so I thought you were on to a winner by
going to all contacts and deleting permanently sadly it still remembers the address in the "to"
box even thou it's nowhere in the contacts or all contacts list. I also tried InternetOptions Autocomplete unticking the various options, but was still unable to delete the remembered address using CroxleyGreen instructions.

Thanks
Sirius
