Just found this 2 years later. I’m a relative of William purdy he was my great grandfather. I don’t know much about him and his family. I know he is buried in Belgium and left a few children as my Grandad who I never got to meet was his Son. He was I think 2 when his father died. I recognised the Emma Oxborough name from my family tree.
What happened to all these family members. I know my Grandad had brothers that lived in London area. Wimbledon I think as my dad used to go down and visit them. I’d love to find out any information on George Purdy’s Brothers and their families . I think he was born in 1916 I know he died in the 60’s not sure when as I’d have to dig out my documents. I’d love mire on this family to share with my Dad.

Hi my late nanna was from newcastle she told me that she was relsted to pearl in some way. I m sure pearls family moved to devon before pearl was born. My nanna said her mother was a palmer before marriage and so was pearls i think. Jane lizzie palmer my nannas mum was daughter of charlie palmer . If you can help in anyway that would be great my nanna was born with the young surname to william and jane lizzie young

Hi well my late Nanna was a relative but I don't know as to how. Was your grandmother married to Charles Palmer  in 1862 in Newcastle as this is the earliest Elizabeth Palmer we have. My Nannas mother was called Jane Lizzie Palmer born in 1877 in Sugley Northumberland she only had 2 Sisters that I know of from the census I have one called Annie and one called Josephina but think one died as a child. We could be related but this is a huge family. Any information you have would be helpful I have quite a bit but obviously cannot get the 1922 census with the fact I need for the majority of the family as no one left to ask now.

Possibilty his name was Robert just popped hannah's name in and 1 about her age brings up a Robert and Isabella but not sure if it is them

Hi I am looking for some information on my Husbands Grandmothers side and we haven't got a lot to go on. I know her mother was called Hannah Lyall maiden name Jones  who was born around 1897 I think in the Durham area. She died young when her children were young. We do not know anything about her family I would love to know her parents and siblings names and where they came from and if I can find out where the Jones name came from cause I was wondering if they came from Wales as it is popular there. Anything would be grateful
