Re the 1850 marriage - there is no entry for William Durham and his bride in the Highworth Parish register.

Perhaps they were married in the registry office.

Charles' occupation is Groom except for Bernard's record which has been left blank.

Can't help with the date but...I do have a photo with a very similar background.

The photographer was Standish & Preece, 218 High St, Ch Ch (Christchurch).

If you have the original, a scan of the back and photo edges will help with the dating.

Have successfully used the Snipping Tool to capture the newspaper article.

The options others have mentioned weren't available on my 'right click' menu.

Wonder why they don't have a download image icon as on the parish register images.  ::)

Never had any problems saving newspaper articles before!

Will have to play around with it some more...don't recall seeing a download image tab.
