I have found alot of information on Mary Boland like census and baptism records but I only found she is from Co Kerry. I cant seem to find a town. She was born in 1844 to Patrick and Margaret. She arrived in America supposedly around 1865. She married Thomas Burke in 1867 in NJ. They lived in Brooklyn first, then moved to Jersey City NJ

I am looking for info on Thomas Burke. Ive found censuses, baptism certificates, etc but I cant find a specific town in Co Cork. He was born in 1841/1842 to Thomas and Cecily. He arrived in America around 1860 and married Mary Boland in 1867. He lived in Brooklyn and then lived in Jersey City NJ

Galway / Re: Dillon and Kelly family in Jersey City

Oh I see now! The links for these records are further back in this post. All the baptismal records say Ahascragh except one says Mount Bellow. But then their 1901 and 1911 censuses specifically say Cloncannon Dillon. So Im assuming now Mount Bellow was a civil record, the others are church and the census is where they actually lived. But if i were to go and visit the ACTUAL place they lived, that would be Cloncannon Dillon right? Im just trying to figure out where I would visit now that i know the area :D

Regarding the earlier post I put about the Kellys I am confused. The family claims she is from Ahascragh but the records posted here say Clooncannon. Is that the same area? The first baptism record fro Delia someone posted that has the right names of her parents says Mount Bellew. I know families can move but I was wondering everyones input. All the documents everyone provided here seem to match, right down to Delias parents and siblings but now I have 3 towns....Ahascragh, Clooncannon and Mount Bellow

Galway / Re: Michael Kelly - where do I look

Delia Kelly is my great great grandmother. Her brother Thomas and sister Nora came to America and lived with her for a little while in Jersey City according to one of the censuses. Like Delia, these Kellys are from Ahascragh also which I believe was in Roscommon but the borders changed and now its in present day Galway. Would you know where your Thomas is from and a possible year of birth?

Me and another poster on here were wondering if we were related. She is related to Christopher and Thomas Dillon. I am related to Patrick Dillon. Chris and Tom had an older brother named Patrick that the family lost track of. so we were trying to find clues to see if all 3 were brothers. We wanted to know if her Patrick is my Patrick ha ha!Seeing all 3 live on the same street or a street over is promising :)
