Oh believe me I am,I've been there and done it,fifteen years and eight generations is'nt bad and there are lots of people with a great knowledge
of family history on this forum who are more than willing to help someone.
I was fortunate to have the help of a correspondent who had been researching
our family name for sixty years or so,its a pretty rare surname.
All the best.

The Common Room / Bowing out of family history.

After a long lay off from researching,I have finally found time to complete my
family tree.the parish records where my ancestors came from are almost
unreadable,so my researching days are over.
It will be a blessing really cos I have other hobbies and interests to keep me
occupied and I will shortly be moving to another part of the country which will
be a challenge in itself.
Thankyou to all who replied to my requests and well done to the team who designed this excellent site.
Good luck and good health to all of you.
Take care.

Someone kindly gave me the info on the family from the 1871 census for Worcester, after that,I traced Alberts father to Balsall Heath in Birmingham from the online version of the 1901 census, his son Albert had married by then.
