Hi everyone. Ii just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who have given me so much information over the past few years since I lost my mum 8 years. I didn't know where else to turn to. So I began to ask for help. I must admit that I could have been a pain. Probably kept asking the same question over and over. That's only because I couldn't remember what I asked as I was new to the group or site
I must admit though I felt like just giving up. But something told me not to. I remembered what my mum said.
Never give up on anything. If you can't find what you are looking for it's probably because it's in front of you but you can't see it. In a way those words made me carry on. Because I started this for my mum before she passed away. As she asked me to help her.
She told me what she knew.
So I've been trying to find out ever since 2017. And because of my DNA. And with the help I've had trying to understand it all. What I've been looking for for over 8 years. It's been found. When I was told about my gran. I couldn't believe it. I ended up crying and saying thank you to my mum for what she said. It's just a shame I can't tell her.
I know she would be so proud of me for carrying on with her quest.
It's like a birthday present for me coming early.
So I want to say thank you so much to everyone. Including isobel.
At the moment I'm trying not to cry.
Thank you everyone.
Kind regards
Dorothy
